Rangpo
1. Background
Rangpo is a town situated along the Teesta river in East Sikkim. It shares its borders with West Bengal and is also the first town in Sikkim on NH 10 that links Siliguri to Gangtok. It is about 200 m above sea level and lies in 27.1761° N and 88.5287° E of the GPS coordinates and at an elevation of 1,100 m.
